“The real act of marriage takes place in the heart, not in the ballroom or church or synagogue. It’s a choice you make – not just on your wedding day, but over and over again – and that choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband or wife” – Barbara De Angelis
I have to wonder if this quote is still relevant in our world today? We all know the statistics that most marriages end up in divorce. Any sacred connotation that the church cling to is long gone and it seems any straight couple can get married for any reason yet straight people are still so resistant to let us join the club (I do realise this this a generalisation and not all straight people feel this way).
